Filmed during the final five years of his life, this documentary offers rare insights into the thoughts, spirit, and legacy of a man who devoted 37 years to the excavation, restoration, and promotion of Ancient Messene.
Through archival material and poetic cinematography, the film highlights his deep conviction that archaeology is not a static science, but a living dialogue between past and present — a dialogue meant to be shared.
