The Lagkadian Carnival is a distinctive carnival event that comes to life on the slopes of Mount Mainalo, drawing inspiration from the Dionysian tradition and the mythology of Arcadia. Gods, Nymphs, Sileni, Amazons, Magicians, and Witches come together in a festive celebration filled with music, rhythm, and symbolism. “The Company of the Goat” sets the tone for a different kind of carnival, where the natural landscape, imagination, and carnival spirit unite, inviting visitors of all ages to take part in an authentic experience of joy and celebration.
