The traditional carnival of Nedousa (Messinia), famous for the ancient ritual “Dromeno of Evetiria”, will take place on Clean Monday, 23 February 2026.
This rural carnival is not a typical parade, but a ritual performance with pagan roots, dedicated to prosperity, renewal, and the fertility of the land.
